I work with couples or non-traditional intimate relationships around issues of intimacy, sex, closeness, and communication. I use Emotion Focused exercises to develop understanding and compassion towards building greater depth in the relationship.
Work with men’s issues includes: anger, communication, assertiveness, fatherhood, self-esteem, career development, social anxiety, expanding emotional intelligence, ADHD, and more.
In addition to organizational challenges, ADHD can interfere with social relationships, self-esteem and mood. The work not only focuses on organizational skills but understanding how ADHD presents as well as lessening the impacts of these symptoms.
The unique challenges of parenting and raising a family in the Bay Area can present in various ways. I offer support for areas of co-parenting, blended families, new parents, life transitions, behavioral challenges and crisis.
We spend much of our day in the workplace. If you feel stuck or unmotivated in your career, are experiencing workplace conflict, excess worry, or a lack of fulfillment, this is a good area to look for solutions.
Excessive worry can lead to health complications in addition to impeding our ability to connect with others and impacts daily functioning. Sometimes it is generalized, a specific phobia, or a lingering response to a traumatic event. Anxiety can present in a variety of ways and you can learn to manage it through skill building and insight development.
Individual sessions are typically 50 minutes. Family and couples session length ranges between 50 and 90 minutes.
I do not currently work with any insurance panels though I can provide an invoice with needed information about your sessions so that you may submit them to your provider for reimbursement.
